Message: I see a lot of you guys using flowmaster's. Is the flowmaster considered to be a performance exhaust system? I know they sound good, they must if everyone is using them. Do they give you any performance gain? I can't decide if i want to put a flow on or go with gibson or borla. I can't seem to find a split dual for my truck, 02 3.9 rc. They have them listed for 4.7's and up. Will i have to get rid of the spare? What is throttle body porting?

Message: I'm pretty sure that flowmaster is by far the most bang for your buck with extreamly good sound. But I am going to start aiming for a Gibson Super Truck exhaust system, I have the feeling that this may run me well over 300$. But it may be worth it. What you can do is what a bunch of my friends did, is go to a local muffler shop and buy the muffler there or order it on-line and get the shop to bend and create your kick ass exhaust system for you. I went to a Minike (spellings off)and with having a muffler already they said duals would run me $150.
