Message: 1999 V-6. 39,000 miles. automatic
Me engine started to make this grinding noise when I put the truck in reverse or drive when the engine is cold. It sounds like it is coming from the very front of the truck. It sounds like something metal on metal but not real horrifying. It seems to stop or diminish a lot when the engine warms up. Can't hear it when driving around. The noise started about a thousand miles ago. Anyone?
