heres a great free mod to alter the appearence of
your truck. have someone hit you!! adds a new
customixed look to your truck. no one else on the
road will have the excat same look. i'm tellin you
all about this today because thats what happened
to me. some woman decided that my truck would look
better with a nice big dent jsut in front of my
left front tire. i dont; know how she missed me my
truck is intense blue! she did manage to take my
v-6 badge off for me. oh wait i wanted those on.
so yes i will need a new fender, new bumber, new
fog light an oh yeah i jsut put my clear corners
on like 3 weeks ago and well is jsut doesn;t look
as good with only half of it there. least the
headlight is in one piece. truck is still drivable
nothing leaking that i can tell. was only doin
about 30 on my end mabye 10 on hers. but i
deffinitly took the brunt of the damage she was
driving a ford sedan of some kind. sorry for he
long sarcastic post but as you can imagine i'm
kinda pissed

sounds just like my truck!!!!
when i was jacked up i decided to go try out my brushgaurd in a river bed and there just happened to be a two foot tall tree stump hiding in the four foot tall brush.... damn!
had to buy a new bumper, took off my V6 emblem and there still is a dent.

yeah got insurance. so it'll be ok. however i was
showing the damage to a couple of the guys i work
with and i noticed that apparently i finished
comin in contact with her with my rear 1/4 panel
so it has a nice big dent in it right behind the
tire. YAAAA you can imagine my reaction when i
noticed it. so yeah it'll be ok but it just sucks
driving a f^ck'd up truck

Bummer Greg... a guy I know at school had his truck totaled the other day about 200-300 yards from his house. We had just had a real bad snow and he slid off the road on his way home. No damage done. He walked home and called a friend (another classmate of mine) to take his tractor and haul him out. The friend went down there and only saw another car and came back super-pissed thinking his friend was pulling a prank. They end up going back and some moron had tried to go flying around the icey corner, slid off the road, knocked my classmate's truck quite a distance into some trees replacing the stuck truck's spot with the stuck car.
Maybe he shoulda been driving a Dak:)
Needless to say...he wasn't too happy about it.
I bout got blasted the other night as a matter of fact. Some idiot on the right must not have looked both ways when pulling out to join in my oncoming traffic cuz he bout clipped my back end and he came out of there. All I got to say was....good thing I was driving a Dak:P

yeah went and got it inspected today allstate is
gonna give me 2k to get it fixed so now i jsut
have to go get an estimate. so time to make some
more phone calls

i know the feeling man, in jan of 2001 a drunk pulled out in front of me and f*ck'd my truck all up over $6000 in damnage to the front end...but i can say that a 99 dak cc will total out a '85 catillac 4 door boat :) but thats besides the point, the only prob i had after the body shop was done fixin my baby (45 dayz later) was the fact that they cant paint for crap, can buff good tho..hehe orange peal and a few minor runns.
one more thing to think about, since she hit you on your side, you might want the think about gettin your alignment check cuz mine got messed up after i got hit

Greg, Look on the bright side - Sounds like a good excuse to make that lady pay for a new custom front bumper cover, body-colored bumper, and PIAA driving lights!

yeah i gotta go get an estimate today to see how
much money i'm gonna have left over. if any, and
to price some newer parts but painitng is a must
gonna get all the black parts painted to match. so
we'll see what happens.
