Well I thought it was fixed...
I replaced the sensor, cleaned all connections, di-electriced em all, everything is good...
Take it home to fix cracked raditor (still not sure how that one happened either) JB welded that shut, everything looked good...
Went to crank it up, again, Crank Sensor, #54 no start, DAMNIT... Screwed with all the conections again, nothing, go home two days later, fires right up. Take it to lunch with friend...
Walk home from lunch, cause ti would fire up, go back two hours later, fires up, but Check engine on, come home check code, 54 crank sensor, try to start, it fires right up! What GiveS!
The whole point of the truk was to keep the miles off the nice dakota, I'm driving it more to get parts than anything else ARG!
Please Help, I am willing to bet that I ahve a bad computer, I've heard if the same code keeps comming up that the computer is to blame...
