 Subject: 3.9 magnum no oil pressure

Hi I have a 1994 dodge van 150 with the 3.9 magnum engine.. I just replaced the oil pump because it would lose oil pressure totaly after about 5 minutes of idle. It still does the same thing with the new oil pump in it...I am at a loss as to why this is happening. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Probally time to pull the engine out and do a rebuild. maybe the cam bearings are worn out also. Hopefully this helps

well that confirms it....I have had a friend of mine that told me it might be the cam bearings and I should do a rebuild on it.. Thank you very much for your input...Tim
