Message: Gibson has some nice setups, but for the V6 Dak a good single 2.5" catback is your best bet. You don't want to lose to much back pressure.
By the way I have a single 3" Dynomax catback along with JBA headers. Nice mellow tone both at idle and high speed. I did lose to much back pressure but gained it back with a 48mm throttle body and airaide intake.

Message: I personally prefer Flowmasters, although I have only heard them on 8-Cylinders, there's not THAT much of a difference. Anyway, The flowmasters deliver a very deep sound, which isnt too loud, but is noticable, it wont disturnb your neighbors, and it doesnt sound like a motorcycle or a riced out Honda, Just deep.

Message: Am I losing power by having a Magnaflow single inlet and a dual 2.5 outlets instead of having a single inlet single 2.5 outlet?

Message: Hey Troy, your not losing power but you have lost low end torque by going with the duels. Our V6's like to breath easier but not to much. Some ways to gain that torque back is by adding a larger throttle body and air intake.

Message: Well I have a V8 TB with a homebrew intake on my 2001 V6er. I was wondering, do the results from porting a TB = the time and effort?

Message: I have a 2002 3.9, and went out and got 2 1/2 Gibson stainless dual split exhaust w/ Bassani stainless steel (ceramic coated) 70 degree downspouts. It sounds mint. Go for the same setup if you can.
