Subject: 98 Catalytic Converter IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1998 Dakota with 82,000 miles on it. There is an awful noise coming from the cat and I was wandering if I can fix it without buying a new converter. I am not required to get my emissions checked so I am more worried about performance. Is there anything I can do?
Thank You

Message: The dealer here in Cali told me it's a 100,000 mile warrenty. I'm sure I could be wrong but they flat out won't fix it here with more than that many miles.
Wouldn't want any other!

Message: I think it's an 8 year 80,000 miles warranty.
