Message: i just had a thought. what if and this might be a little far fetched, but what if you cut a hole in your fan shroud (sp)and ran you itake through it.i have the reactive filter on mine (the one with the heat shield), so i could cut the hole and just put the tip of the filter about an inch through the fan shroud. anyway,,,,, do you think that the fan would act as a jerry rig sort of supercharger????

Message: If you cut a hole in your shroud, then the fan would "suck" air through this hole. installing the end of your intake tube into this hole would "in effect" be pulling air out of your intake instead of pushing air into it, however, never be discouraged from thinking. I could write a book on all the goofy attempts at improved engineering and preformance I've done over the years on bicycles, minibikes, gocarts, streetcars, racecars, motorcycles, other peoples stuff and yes....even my pretty little Dakota. Most of my early projects were heavy on the work and light on the improvement, but I still do it, and probably always will.
