Message: The boost pressure is from the throttle body down. The airhat is only exposed to regular atmosphere pressure.

Message: when the motor is under boost... everything from the turbo/supercharger to the pistons is under boost. Yes, get an aluminum air hat.

Message: By airhat you mean the air cleaner assy. right? Doesn't the air come in through a filter then through the turbo or supercharger then into the intercooler and straight into the throttle body?
