my dad got me a 3.91 richmond for christmas. he gave it to me early, and i plan on installing it myself. Is there anything special i'll need, or have to know? And do u think i need new shims, or can i get away with the ones that are already there? All help is greatly appreciated

...And pay $300 dollars. No Way. I know i can do it. (with the help of some friends.) They just weren't sure if i could use the old shims. One of my friends got away with it, but that was on his jeep.
