 Subject: Help With Speedtweaks

It has been eight months now since I ordered parts from Speedtweaks.com and have yet to recieve some of the parts. I ordered a performance kit with the TB, IAT adjuster, and intense performance air intake. I got the TB right away, probly 3-4 weeks after the order, however the TB and IAT are still out there somewhere. I have called too many times and sent too many emails to these guys, trying to get info. Does anyone have any information about what is going on with these guys, and why they have neglected orders. Also any help on how I can go about getting a refund would be great too. They owe me about $300.

God, what happened to speedtweaks? Did Bernd go out of buisness? They were really comming up with some neat stuff for the Mag V-6's. Hope they come back. Greg

i've talkedto bernd a few times, they are still working things out, the online ordering is no longer being handled by bernd so have paitence. They are concentrating on local customers right now.

theres been so many post about this. and while i'm
not deffending them because i was waiting fora
part for 2 months before i jsut up and asked fora
refund. which i got in a reasonable amount of
time. they got in to too much too fast. give em
time. if you ordered a part i'd suggest jsut
getting a refund. and waitign for them to settle
before buying from them again. but as a fact its
really not neccessary to talk $hit about these
guys anymore

Greg, they built their nest, they have to live with it. If they give lousy service then they get what they deserve. That's just business. I have been in the same boat as Dodge94dak and I ran out of patience after too much time had gone by. It's obvious that Speedtweaks has some serious problems as this type of problem has gone on way too long. I would suggest that people buy direct (like Intense Performance) or from someone else.

Rabbit you hit the nail right on the head. I am just wondering if anyone turned their bussiness practices over to the Attorney Generals office.
I know in my state that it would be persued.
Bussinesses like this go bankrupet everyday. I just hope everyone gets what the ordered before SpeedTweaks goes under.

me as well i'm jsut saying its an old topic. i
mean who havne;t the screwed over. theres no real
point in this because the same thing is said over
and over again. my onlu point was that this is

Going off of what Amen said, if Speedtweaks aren't getting back to customers and are just take people's money, shouldn't the authorites be notified? You think they would say something instead of seeing "COMING VERY SOON..." on the web site. What state are these guys operating out of? If noone does anything, they are going to keep laughing their way to the bank.

My bad. They don't just say "COMING VERY SOON...". They also say "REDESIGNED WEBSITE, NEW ORDER MANAGEMENT, BETTER ONLINE SHOPPING, MORE PRODUCTS". All I want is a doggone IAT Adjuster. Anyone know who else makes one or knows how to make one?

I just re-located my IAT, and it does just fine. The shop is somewhere around Dallas/Austin Texas Area.

Bernd "invented" the iat adjuster so there probably isnt gonna be another one around until he makes one. It was discountinued because of quality controll from the manufacturer. I am trying to get them going again. Bernds shop is in austin texas. Now kinda like Greg said... this topic has been beaten with a stick. There is always that one guy who wants an iat adjuster and cant face the facts that it was dc'd 8 months ago and then there is the one who thinks that by saying "Attorney Generals office" everything will be magically fixed and everyone will get their iat adjusters and intense performance intakes...
...the only thing good that can happen is that they get enough labor jobs in their shop to make enough cash to get squared away. If he claims chapter 7 (or 11 or what ever it is) then no one will be happy.

No denying that a lot of mistakes were made. Company was dissolved and funds were reimbursed as they could.
I'm not in that business anymore at all (don't plan on it either). Yes, mistakes were made.
