Anyone have this problem?. My 99' Dakota Sport 3.9litre auto trans 4X4 w/ 64K miles on it suddenly started blowing gear grease from the front differential vent tube.
A check of the unit indicated no heat buildup in the Diff or axle housings, etc. Or leaks of any kind around the seals etc. The ambient temperture in this area is around 25-30 degrees. The fluid has not been changed since new or topped off, so overfilled is not the problem.
