I'm not positive but I don't think so. The Gen 3 is wider than the 2. The Gen3 rear should be longer, But like I said I'm not positive.

The rear-end will fit, but it is about 3/4 of an inch wider...
Yes, some Gen 2's came with 3.92 gears...

THANK YOU!! I have a guy at a local junkyard holdin one for me. He is only going to carge me 200 bucks! Anyone have any tips for installing it?

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that some of the brackets on the rear-end must be relocated...
Like the shock mounts, etc.

Damn. The rear end that he was holding for me that he said had a 3.91 gear in it, has the same gear that i already have.(the 3.21 go very slow gear)
