Message: I have a 3.9l 1988 dakota 4x4 and would like info on weather a 318 or 340 will fit in my truck. I was wondering about 4x4 axles being in the way of the engine and if the oil pan will fit. Also if i need a bigger tranny if that will bolt to my transfer case. And will the aditional power to the transfer case cause it to blow up.
