Message: I have a 2001 3.9 4x4 CC. How much HP gain did you notice from the K&N air charger kit? Also, is that the same as the Air Induction system, or is it just the K&N filter? Thanks.

Message: I don't know the HP gain, but it's the filter drop in kit... just drops on top, open air intake.

Message: Quick,
I guess a better question would be, did you notice any difference in engine performance when you dropped the filter in? Anything I can do to increase the performance w/o having to drop a lot of money is a good thing on my list. Thanks.

Message: Bill, I did notice a substancial difference when I installed the intake, but I also put the chip on at the same time. I've heard that if you put just the intake on without any other modification you can burn out your valves. That's why I bought them at the same time. To get the most performance out of an intake you need to speed up your spark and fuel. The chip does that! Not to push you, But I would suggest that if you buy one, get them both... They work hand in hand. Let me know if your interested... We can work out a deal.
