Just wondering....are the fuel injectors being used in a 2000 model year V6 the same injectors used in a 1998 model year V6?

Thanks for the help.

Will these injectors, from the 2000 V6 work in the 1998 V6? Will I see an increase in fuel milage or decrease in fuel milage?

Any other information would be helpful as well.

Thanks

Mark

Different conector on the 00+

If you do a search here you should find tons of info, most of the 99- guy's are using the FMS 19# injectors from what I've read.

You would see an increase in power and a slight decrease in milage. In closed loop your truck will run like normal because the computer will compensate for the bigger injectors with shorter pulses. In open loop it will run rich which is good for power, bad for milage and may kill your cat eventually depending on how rich it runs. A high flow airfilter adn exhaustwould really help it make power.

Well, shot that then.

Someone on Ebay was selling Injectors from his 00 V6. His starting price was 20 bucks and inlcuded the fuel rail as well.

If the injectors from his truck won't work on my truck due to the different plugs than they won't do me any good.

Thanks for the help! Greatly appreciated!

Mark
