 Subject: Leaking water underneath 2K Dak

I can not seem to locate the source of a water leak that always appear under the center front of my Dak. Someone said it was the condensation of AC but I have not been using the AC for a few months. Sometimes you can hear the water sizzle as it hits something hot - perhaps the manifold (??). Any ideas??

If you use your defroster-- you use your AC. THe sounds you are hearing are droplets of water from the consensor drain tube hitting your exhaust or headers.

mine makes that noise too...i never use my AC or anything on the knob...it's always at the off position...i lifted the hood yesterday cause i jsut started hearing it...and i looked down through the whole engine compartment and i didnt see anything...i crawled underneith and i could find anything coming out of anywhere...im not gonna worry about it...
