I guess i'm igroant when it comes to this question but here it is: I've seen many people talk about the cap and rotor relating to plugs and I was wondering how these help, install of them, where to get them and how much they cost.

Thanks!
Ryan

Hey Ryan,

The stock cap and rotor are aluminum contacts and they have a tendency to corrode. This will make the engine idle roughly. It has been recommended to replace the cap and rotor with ones with brass contacts. This is for reliability. You should able to get them at most auto places. The problem I had was getting the correct list application for 2001. You can use '97, '98, '99 as the application year. I believe they are the same. I have NAPA. Sorry I forgot the cost. I think www.speedtweaks.net has some prices.

Plugs. Everyone raves the autolites 3923s. Helps reduce dentonation and actually performs better than stock Champions. I hope that helps.

Thanks
