All right I've been lurking around a bit here for the past few weeks and have noticed that there are a lot of folks on here with very good information. I am having some difficulty with a 42RE transmission in my '99 CC 3.9 Dakota SLT, that I was wondering if someone could shed some light on. I have tracked my problems to the valve body, and am wondering will a valve body from a V8 Dak (46RE) fit into my 42RE? I am going junkyard crawling and was looking to expand the vehicles I would be looking under. Let me know what you guys think.
