Message: Has anyone ever installed the Jet Module? If so how did it perform? I'm wondering if it is worth the money. Thanks.

Message: I have a JET-II...
I got it used for $100. It works well with the Brass Cap/Rotor, 180 Degree T-stat, ported TB, Flowmaster, and air intake. My only complaint is that I need 92 Octane now, and that the powerband moved up 500 RPM, but there -is- more of it, so I can't complain to much. Gas milage went up a bit too, so it evened out the gas price difference.
Would I spend the $180 or so that JET wants for a new one? No, not when you can buy a used one for about half that...

Dakota Bob, how long have you been running 89 octane through your jet? a friend of mine did that to his cavaleer and 3 weeks later had lots of engine probs...i'm sure that it was because of the jet (had some blue smoke)

Message: I first ran 93 when I got it then went to 89 I have been running it all summer on 89 and pulling a 3,500# boat also with no problems. The blue smoke your seeing is oil.
