Subject: AT ELEVATION IP: Logged
Message: I have a 96 Dak sport 4X4 V6. I live in Colorado and head up to the mountains often. About a year ago, my check engine light would sometimes come on when I was up at high elevation (mainly when I was going down hill). Now it comes on every time I head to the hills (still mainly when going down hill), and has recently started stalling when I put the clutch in (still on down hills at elevation). At lower elevation, it has started hesitating a little at moderate temperatures.
Any advice?? Is the elevation issue and the hesitation related? My thought was to clean the fuel injectors, but I am not an expert. Thanks for any help!!
