I havent heard anything about it,but I do know there is one compainy that has been making an entire hemi kit for our dakotas. But that was a year or so ago and I'm sorry to say I don't remember the company, but I do recall it being at a SEMA auto show

In 2004... When the dakotas get a facelift, they are also supposed to have some new engine selections... The usual 3.9 V6, the 4.7, a 5.7 Hemi... AND................... a 6.1L Hemi.. now, this isnt from Dodge or anything... but it IS from reliable sources... Theyve been right about everything else in the past, so they are pretty trustworthy, jus hafta wait and see...

I may be wrong about the post above, i was just lookin up some stuff and i found another site that says the dakota will have a hemi option, as will the durango, but didnt mention anything about a 6.1... They mentioned somethign about a 4.7L H.O. though, i didnt finish the ad, dindt have time, go here: http://www.car-truck.com/chryed/buzz/b061901.htm
