Message: Does anybody know of a sparkplug that can increase fuel economy? I know everyone is promoting the autolite 3923's, but do they increase mpg? What about splitfires or NGK v-power plugs, has anybody tried these. Are they better for fuel economy? I am looking at changing my plugs in the next couple of days and would like something that could increase mpg.

Message: I used the Bosch 4 prong. I only got them because someone I know used them and showed some improvement. If you go with the Bosch, don't use the MSD ignition box. Doesn't work too well with it. Greg
Wouldn't want any other!

Message: I just put in a set of Autolite 3923's gapped at .036. First time I have ever tried these. I've used everything from Champion to Bosch. I have just gone through the first tank of gas with the 3923's and I couldn't believe I got about 30 more miles out of this tank of gas than I EVER have before. I've got 183,000+ miles on my 94 Sport. With a 15 gal. tank, I usually get anywhere from 200 to 230 miles per tank. Right now I've got 245 miles on this tank with a little over 1/8 of a tank left! I don't know if it was just the spark plugs that made a difference or the injectors I installed a few weeks ago, but I'm very satisfied so far with the Autolite's. Thanks to all those that suggested them!

Message: By the way, I have tried all of the NGK and Splitfire with the multiple prongs and all of that crap, just a big waste of money imho.
