Why rev to 6000rpms? Doing this with stock internals will only increase the potential of destroying the engine and will not make any power. The powerband is way below the 6000rpm mark according to dyno sheets. Shifting at 5500rpms is not much better since the valves start to float around 5300 or so. Most folks that rev high are smart enough to upgrade to aftermarket roller rockers, springs, retainers, etc. To anyone who is thinking about over revving the engine with stock internals: only do it if your intent is to swap the engine (360 recommended) so destroying the original will not matter.
