Is it for a 3.9l ? Because that is the one I am looking for.The truck is a 1998 Dakota with a 3.9l V6.

From what I here around this forum is that it varies. I had really good luck with mine..
Bernd agrees that the Jet chip for the V6 3.9L Dakotas work best. Many say that they found little to no improvment (if not LESS performance) with the 5.2 and 5.9
But if anyone would like to try their luck with mine, give me a shout.. I'll send it to you, and if you see improvment, just send me the payment.. If you see no improvment, send the chip back. "No hard feelings"
