Subject: Stock Spark Plug Size
IP: Logged

Message:
I got my 3923s last week and have only one size spark plug socket which is 3/8. It just happens to fit the 3923s. That's good.
But I tried to remove the stock plugs and it looks like the 3/8 is too small.
Does anyone know what the stock plug size is.
I plan on leaving the heat shields on.
Thanks

I think you prob mean 5/8 size.

I thought thats what I took my stocks out with?? I think their MIGHT be a 9/16 spark plug socket also.

Plug socket says 3/8 as well as "also fits 16mm".
It fits the 3923s though.

aint ever been a 9/16 plug socket
5/8 and 13/16 are the standards for plug sockets in the U.S. 3/8ths???? never
also 16 MM figures out to .6299 which is only .0049 bigger then 5/8 (.625) so there is no way 3/8 will ever fit 16MM
I used to work for Champion Spark Plug many years ago when they were headquartered in Toledo

Sorry dogleg, I knew their was one that was XX/16. Used it on a lawnmower plug once.

That 5/8 (3/8) should pull the stock plugs out. What is not fitting on it??
