I have a 1998 Dak with a V-6 Auto. When it get about 45' or below my truck doesnt seem to want to shift from 2nd to drive. It slips bad and when it does shift it still seems to slip alot when driving around. This problem only seem to happen when its below 45' tho.......Any one any help here??????

Yeah mine seems to slip too but only under WOT
for the first mile or 2 then it's fine and only when its past freezing,It also makes a gurgling sound when she's first put into gear I heard that it's a Dodge thing. any help please?
(I'd like to know if it is a common problem we have to live with or not cause I got 3 months of warrany left on my 99)

Mine is the same way but it seems to do it all the time it seems to constantly search for a gear and it can't seem to find one. It doesn't matter what the weather is like out or not. I was told that it was because the tranny is the same that they use in the V8 engines. Mechanica who looked at it say it is normal for a dodge. Can someone plz help me

the 3.9 has a 42rle tranyy and the 8's have a 45rle tranny NOT the same.
