Message: Sounds to me like the coolant temperature sensor. Costs about $10-$15 and located on the intake behind the thermostat housing.

Message: Mine was doing the same thing. Itook it to Dodge and they put it on the computer everyhing was ok but they test the fuel pump and it was loosing pressure. Try this next time you go to start your truck. Turn the key on and let the pump kick on and off do this about 3 or 4 times then go to crank it if it starts up fine its the fuel pump

Message: There are two sensor on the front of your intake. One is for the temperature guage, and one is for the coolant temp. sensor. I can't remember which is which though. One has 1 wire and one has 2 wires. I THINK the 2 wires is the coolant temp. sensor.
