i did the flowmaster terminator bite me muffler on my 96 4x4.... nice deeptone, and bolted right on with the stock pipes! get em at Auyo Zone for around 70 bucks. they are made out of 1/4 inch plate and weigh a ton so you shouldn't have to replace it for a looooonnngggg time! hope this helps. e-mail me and i'll get ya the part #. Don't remember off the top of my head and we got it in ,in 2 days...... Bill

the terminator bite me muffler is made by flowtech... pretty good mufflers (have them on the van).

on my 99 i put on the dynomax super torbo and i love it gives about 5-7 hp gain and sounds nice after about a month goes in easy ass hell and costs 41 dollars at autozone good luck but dont get a muffler thatll make it sound like a ricer it very important to pick the right one ...do the reasaerch

To this day, I have never EVER heard a vehicle with glasspacks that even sounded half decent. I would not recommend buying them. For $15, you get what you pay for. They just make whatever they are on loose the smoothness out of the tailpipe. I would go with a Flowmaster or something else.

I just got a OBX single in singe out installed today. I love it. It sounds better then the flowmasters. Its not as loud and is a hell of alot deeper and i noticed a huge gain in throttle response. Alot of people arent familiar with this muffler but it is great! My friend has flowmasters on his s10 4.3l and he is taking it off and having the obx put on. You'll love it. i researched for 2 months before i got mone.

Where did you buy your obx?? DId you install it or if not who did. I am assuming you have the v6. I really want a new muffler and it sounds like this might be what I have waited for.
