 Subject: Intense Performance

My truck is a 99' Club Cab 3.9L with a cruise control and I am considering buying an Intense Performance COLD AIR Intake for my truck.(ie shrouded 7" power stack) I am looking to purchse it from Speedtewaks and I wanted to know how easily it will mount up? What is the best and easiest intake to mount to this particular set-up?

For ease of installation, the IP system is the choice (for the V6). You can install the K&N Gen-II for the V8's, but that requires some light modification to fit.

The heat shield needs to be cut and/or bent to fit the V6 as the V6 TB sits about 2-3" farther back than the V8...causing the intake tube not to fit quite right without "fixing" the heat shield.

I Think It'll Fit. But I Opted For An Open Filter With The Duct From The Cold Can Kit Attatched To The Front Of The Filter. (More Flow)
