Message: Hi, I was wondering how much lower, if any, does a stock 4x2 sit than a stock 4x4?

Message: I think it is only an inch or 2 at the most, it just needs to be that little bit higher for the dransfercase and the front axles.

Message: Well, i never got to measure the truck before i lifted it, but everyone's saying stock 4x2's are 3 inches lower than stock 4x4's. I lifted my 4x2 6 inches and it's 3 inches higher than stock 4x4's. Do the math :)

Message: I'm just about positive the GenII 4x2 is 2-1/4 inches lower than the 4x4. A two-inch body lift and 16" wheels gives my Dak the 4x4 look. If you want, I can check the sales brochure to be absolutely sure.
Dan.
