 Subject: fuel pump?

my truck went balls up on me tonight its a 94. When I crank it shes gettin spark but I'm pretty sure shes not getting any fuel. I have her at the shop and I'm goin to look over her tommorow. I believe its the fuel pump but any other ideas may help. thanks

thanks smitty it turned out to be the pump got the tank dropped, the old one out and new one in and the tank back in with the truck running in about an hour. thanks anyways man

wanna keep that new pump running longer? don't let your gas get below 1/4 tank. The gas in the tank helps keep the pump from heating up, the lower the fuel the warmeer the pump runs. When it runs too warm for too long, it dies sooner.

autozone sells them for $219 and advance is higher but if you tell them autozone's price they will match it.. i like advance better because you can get it the next day (unlike autozone) and the big plus is... it got a lifetime garantee.. :)

I replaced my own pump with a new one, for my 91 3.9l V6. I got the pump, basket and gaskets for $65.00 and it's made in U.S.A. Got it at Pep Boys. Runs great. When you're poor there,s always a less expensive way.
