Got 126,000 on a '97 Ext Cab 4x4 3.9L V6. Had to rebuild the tranny at 116,000 and still only get 13-14 MPG City or Hwy.
I'm amazed by the claims of 18+ MPG. Anything special you guys did? We already have a tonneau cover, but everything else is stock.

2K1 CC all stock - 83K miles. I average about 20 mpg. I do more highway than city so that may be why.

My 95 has almost 100000 .
Try some of the mods on here .
180 therm, cold air intake, Crank Position Sensor
Throttle Position Sensor
If have money better muffler ( less restrictive )

ya im pushin 200k on mine if not more thing runs awsome starts fine just i have thats stallin problem. Hopeing cleanin my sending unit and puttin all new lines helped it out the older ones were basically rotted away

1998 SLT 2x V6 Auto. 246,550. Just ran through smog passed easily. I do have that pop sound though. Could be front end or the cab bushings.

Aug 2002, 29,000mi reg cab, manual, 4x4
front suspension creaks, and the wipers can't move fast enough, 19-20mpg highway, 15-17mpg city.
Had new bushing and upper ball joint put in, but still makes that creaking when weight shifts.

1993 Dakota 3.9L V6 4x4. ~138,400 miles. Very few problems ever and burns no oil. I get about 17 MPG on the highway.

89 with over 245K on it. gone through 3 rear-ends rebuilt training and and beating the hell out of it for the last 2-3 years and still wants to go.
