Subject: intake modification IP: Logged
Message: just some pics of my intake manifold...
hmmmmmm.... i think i am missing something here...
here we have my crappy intake... notice only a 3/4" gap between the divider and where the plenum plate should be...
here is the pic after i shortened the divider about an inch or more and the runners... i also radiused the injector bosses but that isnt as noticable...

Message: The 5.9 in the 2002 1500s have no divider anymore.
4.7 HO, CW style 2001 4.7 5sp 3.92 LSD Ported 68mm TB, IAT adjuster, 3" flowmaster cat back, TPS @ .76V, 4" Z-tube, Roadmaster active suspention, Removed Third cat, Electric fan Convertion, HO cams, Robert shaw 180 therm, HO intake manifold.

couldnt afford new head gaskets at the time! I am waiting to blow them with my turbo and then have an excuse;-)

it helps a little on the top end... i really dont know because when i did that mod i took a supercharger off of my truck.... d'oh!

i dont think any of the 2002 5.9s had them... i have Kris' intake at my house and it isnt there!

Message: well, that thing is fast..... but i am taking off his s/c and he sold it on ebay. he is leaving the country for a year and his brother is taking over payments. i road in his truck and it was pretty quick.... he beat a couple of lightnings with it.
