Subject: Reg cab F150 v8, easy kill or death IP: Logged
Message: well i got into a argument with a girl at work.
she drives a newer F150 v8, she swears up and down that she will smoke my dak(curently getting fixed in the body shop).
I told her that i have a v6, how ever i forgot to mention the mods, he he hehe.
should i bet her some money? Cause we are awaiting my dak to be back up and running after the crash.
now you know thats..................

Message: sicminds, that's what I like to hear. No. 2 son has a Z24 that runs 10:19 and I want to get where you are. Got my 2000 in August and only run 11:30's on Friday Fun nites. Racing on Saturday nite. I am starting Mod's with the advice of others. {see Can I get there post on this forum]. See ya.

My mods include:
1.) I removed the rubber flap to the left of the radiator
2.) 9" inch K&N cone homemade intake
3.) V8 Throttle Body
4.) Glasspack exaust single in, dual out
5.) MSD 6a ignition amplifier
6.) MSD Blaster 3 coil,
7.) MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor wires
8.) Iat Adjuster
9.) Autolite 3923's
10.) Robert T-shaw 180 Thermo-stat.
Keep in mind my truck is a regular cab.
I race with only a quarter of a tank of 93 octane
with a botle of NOS octane booster. I also live down in FL which is close to sea level. I also removed the bed liner and spare tire and jack.
Hope that can help, I did all the mods my self except for the exaust work. I also got a litte help over the phone from intense on the MSD setup

Message: THATS what I like to hear. When I bought my 2000, the flap on the driver side was missing. In reading the posts, I would have removed the right side to let air in on the intake. What am I missing. I am from the old Muscle Car era. Bigger and More open. NO RESTRICTIONS. Times have changed. Thanks. See ya.

Message: I HAVE A DAKOTA V6 MANUAL AND I RACED A F150 V8 AND SMOKED THE SHIZIT OUT OF IT THERE FAST OFF THE LINE. BUT AS SOON AS I HIT 3RD I PULL AWAY AND THEY DONT CATCH UP. I HAVE A AIRAID INTAKE AND 40 SERIES FLOMASTER MUFFLER
