Subject: Shifting with out the clutch IP: Logged
Message: ok, i have been turtle-ing around in my pops
mazda b2500. I was talking to a guy at work
today and he says that he shifts his truck
with out pushing in the clutch. So i tried it on
the way home from work and it does work, it is just hard to put into gear.
I was just wondering if it is bad for the truck itself
thanks
missing my dak, just like that
now you know thats..................

Message: yep, I tried it and it works, but I don't do it regularly. You can do it if you shift at just the right time and rpm for the gears, else it will be too hard to push into gears. But like alex says, its bad for the gears and synchros if you keep shoving it to get it into gear. Save that for when your clutch starts to go. At least your're not wearing your clutch at all :)
