I think I've had a sensor fail on my 98 V6. Now if I touch the gas while in park or neutral, the motor revs to 3500rpm's and slowly returns to idle. I've replaced the IAC motor and the TPS sensor, but this hasn't helped. Any ideas?

Try checking your connections that go into the computer. While you have the engine on, wiggle the harness that goes into the computer. My truck did the same thing, and it just had a bad connection. Hope this helps.
