 Subject: WOO-HOO Birthday!!

My wife is giving me the best present I could get. Something for my Dakota!! She told me to buy whatever I want. What a girl. Well here's my dilemma. I am either going to but the ceramic coated headers or a Flometrics TB. What would be my best bet performance wise right now? I am getting a new exhaust put on next month. Which brings me to my other question. Should I go ahead and replace my catalytic converter also? I still am not 100% sure if I will be getting a single or dual. I do know that I won't have any tips, I'm going to get turndowns off the mufflers. Any suggestions or input on this system? I am getting Flowmaster for the muffler(s), not sure which series. Any thoughts? I want it loud. Oh one more question, if I go with a dual exhaust and I change the cat, should I get another cat and go true dual or just keep one cat and split off from that point? Thanks for any and all replies!!

I asked my buddy that has like 2 5.0s and he said doung the headers will increase performance better than a TB, so thats what I am going to get next aslo, I already did exhaust.It is also cheaper onher also, so be nice!

I would go with Dule Exhaust! I have it on my 98 Dakota V6. I got duel 40 Series Flowmaster, and everyone thinks its a V8, "I love the exhaust" is all i hear from everone. Plus everone who tells me my truck is a R/T, but it isn't, Just a plane Jane Sport with R/T rims. But i love that Dodge!

Go with JBA Headers, High flow cat from bernd, and a Gibson sweptside exhaust. That should give you the most power on your V6!!
