Message: Good day, greendak98:
Don't even bother with the Bosch plugs. Autolites work the best. I used them in my '67 396 Chevelle years ago, for bracket-racing, and they never fouled, ever. Best plugs I ever used, and I continue to use them now. Not only that, they are inexpensive, too!
Best Regards, Alex (The Canadian)

Message: It all depends on how you have your dak set up. i have run the +4's and also those damn auto's everyone on here bows down to every day. My truck runs much better with +4's being a hotter plug. some of these guys will tell you that you need to run with the auto's because they are a colder plug and help to prevent "pinging" "detination" "spark knocking" whatever the hell you want to call it. I've run mine about as hot as I can get it and don't get any of that. Cold air is great, but wants it get in you need to burn it up fast! for drag racing anyways, wouldn't do your motor the best if you take that idea to the street and always drive it like that. I didn't get what I thought I would from the auto's. but that's just me. I'd go ahead and try them before you went and bought some +4's. Auto's = $1.09 ea +4's = 5.95 ea... you do the math.

Message: I put the platinum +4 in mine over a year ago
I"ve since put about 18000 miles on them.I pulled and checked them about two months back and they looked fine.I use the brass cap and rotor.
I average about 19-21 on highway pulling a 1500lb
camper.On highway w/o camper I avg. about 20-22.
I have no problems with them. admitted cost is high
but longevity should equal that out.

Message: Yeah thier expensive, but when i bought my dak used @55K I drove it for 2 weeks and couldn't spin the tires from a dead stop put in the k'n and still couldnt chirp them but after the +4's I can get 1 or 2 revolutions before it hooks up
So i'm pretty happy with them. BTW here in canada I paid 17.95 for 2 (times that by 3 packs add the DAMN taxes and i end up paying 61 bucks!!!) Thankfully I installed them myself(I left on the heat sheilds)
