Subject: Finally got a Dynomax!! IP: Logged
Message: Well I finally got a Dynomax Super Turbo #17748 and I love it so far.
The sound is exactly what I wanted, slightly louder than stock with a lower rumble.
As far as power goes, I seem to have a little better throttle response and maybe 2-3% more power.
Is it a good idea to reset my PCM now that I have a new muffler?

No need to reset PCM with just a muffler change, you will also notice that it will "burn in" after about 1-3k miles and will be just slightly deeper.

| Muffler or dual exhaust? IP: Logged
Message: hey i know this is getting annoying but i need some opinions. Should i get a single in dual out turbo muffler or dual exhaust? im not worried about the price, i want good performance and a nice sound. I've heard the flowmasters and gibson's dont sound good at all on a v6. Also, will chopping off the cat. converters do me any good in gains of horse power? please let me know your opinions on this too.
thanks

Message: Duals seem too much for a V6. Dual outs are ok. I'm running the gibson cat back and am pleased with it. The cat should be maintained. Maybe change to a hi flow cat. Not a big gain here though.

Message: I run the Gibson single catback on mine to and love it to death. I heard that duals are a little much too for the V6.
