 Subject: Newer 3.9's and IAT

I am fixing to have a friend do some welding for me, and for payement I am gonna do some minor mods to his 2001 3.9l Ram. I have read that some of the newer engines don't like having the IAT relocated. Is this true???
I am thinking for payment, relocate his IAT, 3923 plugs, Brass cap and rotor, Remove/clean horns on the TB, S-hat hook hold down. Anything else that wont cost me a bundle to do spice his truck up?
He has put in a k&n already, and when he gets $ to put a high flow muffler on it.

i relocated my IAT and have had no problems
whatsoever. i relocated it to my intake tube, on
my airaid intake, to right after the filter. I
have no complaints about it.
