Message: I have a prob that really is annoying, not to mention dangerous. And to top it off, it is intermittent. When I am trying to crank the truck, it will fire off and then die. It also does it if I have to release the accelerator too fast, such as advancing in line while at a stop sign. Weather, outside temp, engine temp, nothing seems to make a difference as to when it will happen. It is a stock 3.9, no mods at all, with 154k miles. I have replaced the fuel filter, plug wires, and plugs- nothing worked. I get no codes from the computer, either. I'm stumped! Thanks in advance for anything you can offer.

Message: Get to Auto Zone and have the battery checked. My 98 V6 did the same thing and the battery was going out. New battery and alls well.

Message: If you have high milage on the vehicle the first thing i would do is clean the T/body. Make sure the a.i.s. passages are clean. Recheck your minimum air flow. Full operating temp keep your a.i.s. steps around 10. If nothing else check the minimum air flow anyway. It does affect drivability.

Message: If none of that other stuff has fixed it I think that I might know what your problem is. A lot of people that I know from back home including me, that have a Chrysler product have had their vehicals stall hout on them rendomally. It is no picnic going like 50 mph and your car (in my case)stalling out on youand it not wanting to fire up again. What seemed to do the trick for me was replacing the camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor, its ran fine since than. In case your woundeing the I do have a Dak only because my concorde kept dieing. Before the fix was found I had both computers replaced and the entire ignition system replaced. Total bill of car in shop for 7 months = $800.00, can you say ripped off?

Message: That's weird, because my 92 Dak would drive down the road anywhere between 25-50mph and would die while moving and not want to start. It would chug and act like it had a mind of it's own. When I pull off of the road, I wiggled the coil wire and it would start the next time right up. I got home and changed the coil and it fixed it.
