well it has been almost 5 months since i ordered my intense performance intake with the 9 inch big mouth filter. i sent a money order for $152.00 to SPEEDTWEAKS in texas. Ive read some good stuff about them so i wanted to order some parts from them, but as you can see i sent them the money for the intake , but they never sent it , or a phone call. i think that it is pretty sad to do someone like that. ive tried sending them e-mails,and tried calling them about twenty times, but ive only got the answering machine. All i want is the intake or the money that i sent to them back.
Does anyone know if speedtweaks is still open,or what? THe only promblem is that mom and dad are gitting pretty pee-d off.i just hope they dont stop by on their way to california for vacation...

We're still here. I'll have to go through our records and will try to find your order. Don't know why it didn't ship. It's definitely a long time to wait for an intake.

I have been reading this forum for about a year now and am suprised that Speedtweaks is still giving the same lousy service now that they did a year ago. Every time someone writes in and complains about not getting a response or not getting their order, Bernd responds with "Oops" or "Sorry, my e-mail was full". I work in a service oriented business and when we have customers complain, we FIX IT !!! Five months to wait for a part is ridiculous. A happy customer is a repeat customer.

We still make mistakes...we're only human (and there's only two of us at SpeedTweaks right now). Why Kenny hasn't received his intake yet (after 5 months) is something that definitely needs to be looked into. On Hank's TB...it's sitting at the shop (finally) and will be going out very shortly (not the blemished one either Hank).

how many times do you hear about the great service that speedtweaks has given and all of the free advice that they give. hardly none because people are so much more comfortable bitching about something. speedtweaks is a god sent to dak owners. i work in a very large customer service type atmosphere also and out of the 10,000 people that walk through our doors weekly you only hear about the dozen or so that had a bad shopping experience. so next time you are looking for advice or information remember who'll give it to you for nothing in return.

Everybody stay calm. I ordered my Speedtweaks Stage V kit and have rec'd most of it. Sure, I'm also axious to get the rest it. THE ONE THING I AM SURE ABOUT: IT WILL ALL WORK TOGETHER WHEN I GET IT. Keep in mind Bernd has tried all this stuff and he's seen it all. Hell, he's probably instrumental in the development of most the TBs for avaiable for the Dakota. You can bet they have asked for his opinion. The reason you picked that intake is that you have confidence in Bernd. You can go down to the local auto store and buy all this crap, but you might end up throwin' some it away. 5 months is a long time, and Bernd admitted it. You have his attention, and sure you'll get it and I'm sure you'll be happy with it. Hang in there, be patient, experience has hand-picked your truck part. And that's not the kind of experience you'll get down the street. Be cool.
