 Subject: 1/4 mile times and speeds?

Hey everyone,
I wanted to get some imput on everyones quarter mile times and at what speeds. I ran a 17.5 at 75mph in my '01CC sport V6 2wd bone stock and i could only get down to a 17.1@77mph after i lowered it 3/5 inches, put on low pro tires, a homebrew intake, and doing 200lbs. of weight reductions + 1/2 a tank less of gas. Does this time sound about right? Please just right down what you ran, how fast(mph) and everything about your truck. thanks,

Do you have a 5 speed? Those are some good times for a stock 3rd generation. My gen 2 auto 3.9 has a best of 17.0 at 79mph. If I'm correct, your truck out weighs mine by about 500lbs.

Mine is an automatic,
I've seen some quick second gens, i wouldn't even try to compare my '01 to a 2nd gen.

i have a 94 regular cab 3.9 v6 with 203,345 mileson it and in the 1/8 mile it runs a 10.0's
ive done the three and a half telephone thing and a buddy was with me i ran a 14.98-15.10 about 6 times ive done it at about 85-88 miles an hour. in four of the wide spaced poles i can get about 90 mph.

My fastest time to date is 16.3 at 85mph. but i'm
goin again this friday so hopefully i'll improve.
00' 5speed, reg cab, mods include jba headers,
flowmaster 30 deltaflow series (sounds great),
airaid intake, new spark plugs and a relocated iat
sensor. have new spark plug wires, underdrive
pully and elctric fan on the way should get here
friday but not in time for me to install them
before i hit the track.

I finally fixed my problem with my truck. It was a bad connection in the computer. I hope I can now do better than 17.0.

I ran a 16.19 today, the weather was great, cold and humid. Hopefully i can get down towards the mid 15's once i get the nitrous bottle filled.
