Subject: O2 sensor IP: Logged
Message: Which O2 sensors am I supposed to replace when I do it, all of them or just specific ones? Are some more prone to going bad or more important? Thanks

Message: Are they bad? The dealership can test them on the computer. On mine, I have a pre-cat and a post-cat, if the pre-cat one is not working, the fuel/02 mixture can be off, and it can cause your cat to overheat. They're pretty expensive pre- $99, post - $120 Canadian so I wouldn't change them unless you have to.

Message: Wow, I didn't know that they were that expensive! Mine are not bad, but I was just going to change them as preventative maintenence. It is recomended to change your O2 sensor at a certain mileage. But, now that I know the price I just might wait a little longer.
