Subject: Who has flow's and headers? IP: Logged
Message: Do any of you 3.9'rs have headers installed with twin Flowmasters? What does two flows sound like compared to the traditional single flow?

Message: two mufflers isnt really neccessary with our smaller displacement motors. You would kinda loose some low end power. I have the jba headers and had a two chamber 40 series flowmaster with no tailpipe. Keep the tailpipe, it sucks without it!

Message: Thanks for the response Intense 39. So your exhaust comes from the headers, runs into a single pipe (flowmaster) then splits into two duals again, just like basic dual exhaust?

Message: i have a flowmaster deltaflow 30series with jba
headers. sounds nice. but you have to run a pipe
out the back if the truck or off the side
otherwise it reverbs through your bed and its loud
as all hell. but with a nice straight pipe goin
out the back it sounds really good.
