Do any of you 3.9'rs have headers installed with twin Flowmasters? What does two flows sound like compared to the traditional single flow?

two mufflers isnt really neccessary with our smaller displacement motors. You would kinda loose some low end power. I have the jba headers and had a two chamber 40 series flowmaster with no tailpipe. Keep the tailpipe, it sucks without it!

Thanks for the response Intense 39. So your exhaust comes from the headers, runs into a single pipe (flowmaster) then splits into two duals again, just like basic dual exhaust?

okk

i have a flowmaster deltaflow 30series with jba
headers. sounds nice. but you have to run a pipe
out the back if the truck or off the side
otherwise it reverbs through your bed and its loud
as all hell. but with a nice straight pipe goin
out the back it sounds really good.
