Subject: Gas mileage IP: Logged
Message: I have a '92 Dakota v6 that has 136k + miles. Question is the gas mileage has gone to hell. I replace plugs at 125k but this did not help. Could this be o2 sensor, CAT, any help for a starting point?

Message: alot of thing can affect your mpg. Alighnment, tires worn wrong, underinflated tires, any sensor fixing to go out, engine not running at right temp. Check into a O2 Sensor, helped my camaro out BIG TIME.
Also, work on getting that full tune up with cap/rotor, wires.

Message: Might try a lock gas cap. If you have no other indication that the motor has a problem.
