I was wondering what is the largest size of tire I can put on a 1993 dakota 4x4 without tearing anything up or without adding a lift?

I've got 235 x 75 x r16 on my '93 2wd- they do rub a little with the wheel cranked all the way to either side, but i've learned to avoid it and they look great too.

My '92 2WD has 225/70x16 tires on late-model 16x8" wheels. Probably not as big as you want to go, but they fit with no problem, and improved the accuracy of the speedometer!
I understand the 17" R/T wheels and tires will fit as well.

I have 31x10.5x15 on my otherwise bone stock Dakota, no rubbing/no buffing!
