my buddy got his 92 dakota paintd one day last week. my opionion it looks like crap!!
his truck has so many fish eyes and waves in it it aint even funny. me and a friend of mine rag him all of the time on how crappy it looks. he just thinks it is the most wonderful thing in the world. even though it hasnt been color sanded and buffed,would you think it will help it look any better?
last night he got it buffed. it still has a ton of fish eyes and it still doesnt look very good. every one says black is the hardest color to paint is that true.
i cant complain about the price $1,300. but i think i would have helped the indivdual sand it but it does look ten times better.
just thought id share it with you

I just had my 92 Dakota painted a darker gray because of the flaking paint. I also paid 1300 and the paint on mine is flawless, I'd take it back and complain.

hey 92blackdakota,
i wouldnt be mouthing to much the dodge might get out of the shop this weekend.and i think it has one thing on its mind and its you!!! with the fresh tranny and the transgo jr. shift kit, and the 3.02 kickdown lever, and the new 2600-2800 rpm stall converter,and the main shaft drilled .200 with 6 new holes drilled in the shaft. its going to be fast, NO, I MEAN STUIPID FAST!!!
no, just wait im going to blow your paint off!!
