Message: I'm a new kid on the block in need of help. When I push in on the clutch to start the engine, sometimes all the engine does is click. Could somebody tell me what needs to be replaced or repaired. Thanks.

Message: First I would check your Battery make sure it has a good charge at least 12.5 Volts with a Volt-Ohm Meter.
Then check your connections on the battery to make sure they are tight clean and corrosion free.
If that's all good I would say it is your starter is bad.

Message: Probally not the starter itself, probally the solinoid. But depending on the year, the two are practically a single unit anyway... but yeah, check your battery and clean the connections first. That might do it. Corrosion on the battery connections can cause some odd things to happen!
